Exe Fishing Terms and Conditions (departures from Exmouth Marina)

 

Please read the below Terms and Conditions carefully before finalising your booking.

Exe Fishing reserves the right to cancel, alter or refuse any booking that they feel will be detrimental to the safety of passengers, crew, and/or vessels.  The Management's decision is final and non-negotiable.

The company place the health and safety of passengers first and reserve the right to alter or change a trip as they feel necessary.

All sea-going trips are subject to the weather and tides on the day; whilst we endeavor to keep passengers informed of any changes to the anticipated trip, this may not always be possible and last-minute cancellations may occasionally be necessary.

Your trip involves fishing at sea in an entirely natural environment and as such, there is no guarantee that you will catch any fish. You will not be entitled to a refund or a transfer of your booking if you do not catch any fish during your trip.

All tickets are non-refundable once purchased unless we cancel your cruise.

The boat will leave on time and cannot wait for late arrivals for any reason.

If you miss your sailing time, change your mind, or do not turn up for any reason, your tickets remain non-refundable and non-transferrable.

 

Finding us

Your trip will depart from Exmouth Marina (EX8 1XA / what3words location: https://what3words.com/various.removable.palms.).

It is your responsibility plan your journey and arrival, before travelling to us. You are strongly advised to allow sufficient time for parking, which can be challenging on certain days, especially during busy days in the summer. Exe Fishing accepts no responsibility for your journey to us or your ability to park and you will not be entitled to a refund or a transfer of your booking if you miss your trip for any reason.

Once you have finalised your booking, you must check your confirmation email for details of how to find us and how to collect your boarding passes. Please check spam folders for your confirmation email. If you have not received a confirmation email, then please call us on 07928 273421 so that we can investigate this for you.

 

Boarding (for departures from Exmouth Marina – EX8 1XA)

It is your responsibility to ensure that you are in the correct departure point for your trip. Exe Fishing cannot accept any responsibility if your miss your trip due to being at the wrong departure point – if unsure, it is your responsibility to check before travelling to us.

Boarding generally commences approximately 15 minutes prior to the departure time of the trip and we would therefore strongly recommend that you arrive at the departure point and ready to board the boat, no later than 15 minutes prior to the departure time for your trip.

We do not have a booking office at Exmouth Marina. Our Skipper will meet you at the top of the pontoon, near to The Point Bar and Grill (EX8 1XA / what3words location: https://what3words.com/various.removable.palms.).

 

What to wear

The boat is open and uncovered and you are therefore strongly advised to dress appropriately for the weather – warm and waterproof clothing is advised. The company accepts no responsibility if you are not appropriately dressed.

Trips will not be cancelled due to rain and you will not be entitled to a refund or a transfer of your booking if the trip is going ahead but you decide you do not want to go for any reason.

 

Accessibility

Our boat is not designed, nor has it been adapted, for wheelchair users or those with reduced or limited mobility. However, it may be possible to accommodate passengers with reduced or limited mobility on certain trips and you are therefore advised to enquire with us by calling us on 07928 273421, before making a booking.

Our boat does not have wheelchair accessible toilets.

Please call us on 07928 273421 before making a booking if you would like to discuss access to the boat for persons with limited mobility.

You must report to our booking office to collect your ticket – do not go straight to the boat. Our staff will then direct you to the departure point for the boat.
